“Kiran from KidsPlay Foundation reached out to the Metro Vancouver chapter of Khalsa Aid during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic to support and collaborate on seva (selfless service) initiatives in the lower mainland. From the get go, KidsPlay was open to any and all ideas on how we could work together. Just in the past few months, KidsPlay has supported Khalsa Aid by provided toys and clothing for undocumented families, helped pack groceries for international students, and support Sanctuary Health with food supplies for vulnerable people in the DTES. It has been a great experience working with KidsPlay Foundation and Kiran. The volunteers’ collective drive and motivation to help others is inspirational and infectious. It is amazing how different groups can come together and support our community in the spirit of seva.”
